Mike Leineweber has over 36 years experience as an architect accredited by NCARB and licensed in three states and the territory of Guam. A long-term resident of Hawaii and a veteran of service with the U.S. Navy, Mike has extensive experience working in a variety of Pacific Rim cultures and environments. This invaluable knowledge enhances his position as Vice Chairman and Director of Marketing for Media5 Architecture, as many of his clients are based in Hawaii, Japan, and Pacific Rim countries.
An active member of the community, during his career Mike has served as President of the Honolulu Chapter of the American Institute of Architects, as well as President of the Kokusai Sake Kai, an international sake 501(c)3 organization. He takes a lively interest, and serves in the Honolulu Rotary, Pacific, and Outrigger Canoe Clubs. Mike is also a member of the faculty in the University of Hawaii at Manoa's Doctor of Architecture program.
Mike enjoys year round life at home in Honolulu with his wife Spencer, daughter Eliza, her husband and children, as well as summer life on a farm in Maine with other daughter Amy, and her husband and children. He can usually be found in church on Sunday morning, and at the beach on Sunday afternoon. A little known fact about Mike is he spends a week every summer on the island of Niihau.
