Stephen Nash has over 30 years of experience, and has been a Principal of Media5 for over 20 years. Having served on numerous committees and both boards for the American Institute of Architects Honolulu and the Honolulu Chapter of the Construction Specification Institute Stephen is a firm believer in advancing the profession. Currently he serves on the Board for the West Region of CSI and Chairs the CSI Education Committee where he just completed developing the Construction Documents Education Program (CDEP).

Steve has a long history of volunteering for community organizations, such as the fifteen years assisting with the Historic Hawai`i Annual Benefit silent Auction. Most recently Stephen was elected to serve on the board of the Pacific Buddhist Academy due to his extensive experiene designing schools. Steve is also the co-founder of the Pacific Building Trade Expo, Hawaii's premier building industry trade show and continues to co-chair the event every year.

Outside of the office Stephen is a avid enjoyer of music and the outdoors. He is constantly searching out new music with only one criterion: it must be good has lead to an eclectic collection that includes music that ranges from a cappella to zydeco and most everything in between. An avid backpacker in his younger days with extended trips in British Columbia, California, Colorado, Idaho, Ontario and Wyoming, Stephen has recently re-introduced himself to the sport with long dreamed of hike on Isle Royale National Park.
